Tim Dai, Taiwanese guitarist, studied guitar performance in Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduated summa cum laude in 2014.

He focuses on Jazz music performance especially traditional jazz style, also plays Blues and Pop music. Before attended Berklee, Tim was awarded by many music competitions including the best songwriter of College Golden Melody Award, first place in Golden String award, also won the third place of Red String award with his band.

Influenced by Ivan Liao, professor of Shanghai Conservatory, Tim has made his mind to become a jazz guitarist since 14 years old. In 2012, he applied for Berklee College of Music and won the scholarship to go to boston, then studied with Jazz guitar master and also his mentor, Richie Hart. He also studied  with top players such as Kevin Eubanks, Tuck Andress, Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, Victor Wooten...etc.

While in Boston, Tim hold his own concert several times with his own band and also performed in Berklee performance center with bigger projects. After gruduated from Berklee, Tim now based in Shanghai as muscian and teacher.
